Per Nielsen’s popularity is substantiated by his great CD success. His 14 CDs have sold more than 400.000 copies, which make him Denmark’s most selling and most popular instrumentalist. Per Nielsen released in connection with his 60iest birthday a new double CD, “My Favourites”.

Concurrently with his great CD career Per is working at Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester.

Per has through the years performed as a soloist both nationally and abroad as well as in radio and TV – i.e. at AM Singapore which is the most popular TV program in Singapore and in “Musikbutikken” at Danish broadcast TV.

In addition, Per has been soloist at Flandern Music Festival, soloist with Franz Lamberth at ‘Ball des Sports’ in 1997 in Wiessbaden and soloist with Haydn’s trumpet concert with the renowned orchestra in Denmark Danmark “Collegium Musicum” at “Harzburger Musiktage”.

Per has also been soloist with Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester with trumpet concerts by i.e. Haydn, Hummel, Arutunian, Glindeman, Telemann, Torelli, Albinoni.
